Perspective
Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story
Of that man tortured with voices,
the host, cursed to be their pen,
plagued with ceaseless thoughts
in a world all his own.
Invocation of the Muses

Oh great Muses!

Goddesses of the arts

and proclaimers of heroes.

Heroes like—-

No…that’s not what I mean to say.

Oh great Muses, I call upon your divine wisdom. Grant me the gift of creativity, and bring forth the voices that dwell inside. Guide my pen, my brush, and my mind. Reach into the depths of my soul and give me the power to wield it into existance. May I be blessed with the ablity to breathe life into paper and quell the raging storm within me. I come to you, a humble human, with a need to create.

I bare offerings of hot tea, sharpies, and my devotion to the arts. May it appease you and may you have mercy on a poor artist’s soul.

Errr…do I say amen when praying to the Greek Pantheon?

Better safe than sorry.

Amen…

Hail Mary full of Grace.
